Karan Patel indirectly mocks Kangana Ranaut's mental state; later clarifies he means no offence

Karan Patel indirectly mocks Kangana Ranaut's mental state; later clarifies he means no offence
It seems Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame Karan Patel has invited trouble by indirectly mocking Kangana Ranaut in his latest post.
The actor took a dig at Kangana by sharing that he has now realised why her husband would keep running away from her in the movie ''Tanu Weds Manu'. He added they are witnessing the mental state of the wife these days on news channels.

He wrote, "Main humesha sochta tha ki Tanu Weds Manu 1 and 2, dono filmon Mei, jo hero hai woh apni biwi se door kyu bhaag jaana chahta hai? Iska matlab aaj samajh aaya, bhai aap usa biwi ke maansik santulan ka pradarshan aaj kal news mei dekh rahe h na.."
This must have offended sensibilities of a few. And that's the reason why the actor clarified that he means no offence to anyone in another post.

He wrote, "Hadd ho gayi bhai, Arre jo aadmi kuch saal pehle dekhi hui film ka matlab khud aaj samjha ho, uss aadmi ki kya majaal ki woh kisi aur ka mazaak udaye. Aaj toh agar koi generally bhi kisi film ki baat kare toh yeh media wale usse kisi ka mazaak udana samajhte hai. Mera yaQueen karo, I mean no offence to anyone. (This is too much. One who has understood the meaning of a film he saw years ago, why would he make fun of someone else. These days even if you talk about something generally even then media thinks you are mocking someone.)"

Karan had earlier shared his thoughts on nepotism with Etimes-TV exclusively and even then hinted at Kangana.

He had said, "I see no reason for people to rant about nepotism. For example an actress these days is talking about nepotism. If I am not wrong she came up with her own production house some time back, so why didn't she cast Sushant in her film if she's such a big star. And I have never seen her working with a new director or an actor. Before signing a film, I am sure even she must be asking which banner it is, or who the producer is, or which studio is backing it. So, when even you are running behind big studios, then why are you blowing nepotism's trumpet."

He added, "You have your own production house and your sister is taking care of your business, why didn't you hire new people and announce job interviews. I am saying what she did was wrong. Today, if my father announces a business obviously he will ask me to look after it. Nepotism is everywhere and it has been going on since ages. I will be shocked if there is no nepotism. It is simple, a person works hard, he earns everything and once he is gone, obviously everything will go to his kids, and not to the neighbours."
