Nithiin resumes shooting for Rang De with Covid-19 precautions
During Unlock 4, Tollywood stars are slowly resuming shooting for their upcoming films and the latest to do so is Nithiin for Rang De.

Shooting for the film directed by Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema fame and also starring Keerthy Suresh was in progress when the pandemic put a dent in the schedule. On Wednesday, the filmmakers announced that the team has officially resumed shooting for the film with all Covid-19 precautions in place.

Famous cinematographer PC Sreeram looked happy to be back to work as he shared a picture of his camera and wrote, “The mean machine is back .Indian film industry one of the biggest entertainment industry in world has started rolling, with all the safety precautions. may the force be with us.” (sic) Music composer Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music for the film.

Venky Atluri revealed that they are aiming for a Sankranthi release for the film seeing as how theatres are yet to be reopened. They wrote, “We are happy to inform that with all the safety precautions we have resumed shooting for our movie, #RangDe! See you all this SANKRANTHI. Always #WearAMask & Stay Safe! @actor_nithiin @KeerthyOfficial @pcsreeram @ThisIsDSP @vamsi84 @sitharaents @adityamusic.” (sic)

In the pictures shared from behind-the-scenes of the film’s shoot, Nithiin, Venky Atluri and PC Sreeram can be seen interacting with each other with masks on and maintaining social distancing. Actor Brahmaji also shared a picture with the team, announcing that he has resumed shoot also with the film’s team. It remains to be seen if Keerthy Suresh, who recently wrapped up shooting for Nagesh Kukunoor’s debut Telugu film Good Luck Sakhi, that also stars Aadi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu, will join the shoot too. Apart from this, she has Miss India lined up whereas Nithiin has the Telugu remake of Andhadhun with Nabha Natesh and Tamannaah, plus a film called Power Peta.
