Court directs Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 team to sort out issues
Director's Shankar's long awaited 'Indian 2' starring Kamal Haasan in the lead has been delayed for more than one reason due to several unavoidable reasons. After the shooting for films resumed after the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the shooting of 'Indian 2' failed to resume. Recently the producers of the film, Lyca Productions, filed a case against director Shankar in the Madras High Court seeking a ban on him to direct any other film before the completion of the Kamal Haasan starrer 'Indian 2'.

While the acclaimed director Shankar denied the allegations that he had abandoned the film that the production house cannot prevent him from making other movies, the latest is that the judges hearing the case have apparently directed both parties to come together and sort out the issue.

While the production company has stated that the film was supposed to be wrapped up by March 2020 and the delay has amounted to huge losses, director Shankar has said that he needs to shoot the portions involving the actor Vivek again, since the star comedian had passed away recently.

While the hearing of the case is adjourned to April 28, the judges have opined that a court order or judgement will not bring about an amiable situation in this issue.
